2025 in Numbers: What Community Support Made Possible at SafeHouse
Behind every statistic is a person—someone seeking safety, support, education, or healing. As we reflect on 2025, these numbers tell the story of a community that showed up for survivors, even amid funding cuts and increasing need.

In 2025, SafeHouse provided:
-
1,300+ crisis calls answered, offering immediate support and safety planning
-
400+ hours on the crisis line, ensuring survivors were never alone in moments of need
-
400 total clients served, including 93 forensic services clients
-
9,070 nights of safe shelter for individuals and families escaping violence
-
831 community counseling sessions, supporting healing beyond the crisis
-
5,600 youth and adults educated through prevention programs and professional training
-
10,500+ blog reads, helping spread awareness, resources, and prevention messaging
Each number represents trust placed in SafeHouse—and a commitment we take seriously every day.
Serving Through Challenge
This year was not without its challenges. Funding cuts required us to be thoughtful, creative, and expansive in how we serve. Even so, we remained steadfast in our mission: to be here for survivors when they need us most.
And we did not do it alone.
A Community That Showed Up
In 2025, our community showed up—and showed out.
-
New volunteers stepped forward to give their time and skills
-
Donors contributed both monetary and in-kind gifts, helping meet survivors’ needs
-
Supporters participated in fundraisers, strengthening our ability to sustain services
-
During the holidays, the community went above and beyond—ensuring our shelter clients felt celebrated, valued, and cared for, especially at Christmas
Because of you, families found not only safety, but moments of joy and dignity during a difficult season.
Looking Ahead
As we move into a new year, our commitment remains unchanged. We will continue to answer the phone. We will continue to open our doors. We will continue to educate, advocate, and support—no matter the challenges ahead.
Thank you for supporting SafeHouse so we can continue supporting survivors.
We’re here. And we will be here for anyone who needs us.
